Regeneration of a base

First of all you must find a convenient place, where you will be able to place your board. It would be perfect if we have a snowboard vice where we will be able to fasten our board very surely, both horizontally (with a base turned to the top) and vertically (with a carve to the top). This role can be partially fulfilled by a ski vice. But if we don’t have such equipnemt we can lay our board on the backs of two chairs. Remember to make sure, before you start your work, if there isn’t any carpet under the chairs; place where we will be working should be free from other people, and it should be easy to remove every kind of dirt from the floor. You should also have direct current and lighting on your board in order to notice every damage.

So let’s go!!

Your first activity is cleaning of your slide, with the use of sander, from dirt and an old protecting wax. Now you can watch your slide and carves very precisely in order to locate every damage. You should remove every protruding fragments with a use of sander, or cut it off with a sharp knife. Next you should remove fat from such exposed and located holes with a use of special grease cleanser or just usual extractive benzine. Next we must take a P-tax stick, set fire on it’s ends and let the dripping material fill the holes on the slide. After spilling every hole we gather an excess of melt material with a use of rasp or steel sander. At the end we can smooth repaired places with a very fine sandpaper.

Good luck!!
