Snowboarder

Interested by high, snow-covered mountain peaks, cut in trailer by snowboard carves, I hoped for just as interesting elaboration of the idea. However just then I had some fears if the plot will be able to arouse such emotions like riding in the virgin powder, and if excessive temperature won't start melting the snow. The beginning of the film is promising. Gaspard- snowboard lover, living in French Alphs uses the charms of his homeland, venturing very often with his friends on surrounding high peaks, in order to discover new routes and to gain new experience. Gaspard dreams of becoming professional snowboarder, taking part in contests and winning them. Just like his idol- Josh Atterssen.

Master Josh in the beginning proved to be black character. Very serious verdict connected with a prank, which he has commited once at snowboard contest, lies heavy on his shoulders. One day Gaspard, training in loneliness, unexpectedly meets Josh who invites him to his kingdom in the Switzerland and he promises to train him for master. From this moment, bad influence of Josh is unfortunatelly infectious not only for Gaspard but also for whole film construction. It is formed absurd intrigue causing an avalanche of grotesquely combined love, dramatic, thrilling and comedy plots, having origin at James Bond (which I definitely prefer at original version). The closer to the end, the more this film strays away from previous expectations. Fortunatelly, the scene of the fight, arousing mixed feelings, during the downhill riding of our heroes didn't contain effects directly fom "Matrix", but some presentations suggested that film producers watched the work of Wachowski more than once.

Making good film, based on such idea, joining unusual impresions from steep slopes with exciting and real plot isn't very easy, and that is why it is better not to make something what isn't thought over well enough. On the other hand photos from the slopes make a strong impression- I just even want to take similar photos on my own.
