The Hochkar Open are the most important Snowboardcompetition of Lower Austria, the Big Air - Event in the Senonerpark proved this in an impressive way. An international field of participants and perfect conditions in the best snowpark of East Austria made up for a high level of Freestyle Snowboarding and lots of enthusiastic audience.

The great organisation of the contest, done by QParks, the company that is also responsible for the construction and the maintenance of the Senonerpark on Hochkar, the interesting prices (prize money plus Samsung MP3-Players) and - last but not least - the beautiful weather made the Hochkar Open a first class Snowboard happening. More than 60 participants from Hungary, Slovakia, the Czech Republic, Poland and Austria kept the competition exciting and versatile. The fact that the men's ranking was won by Salzburgs Robert Wallner might be the only thing that didn't happen as the big and strong scene of Freestyle Snowboarders in the Mostviertel wished!
