On the last weekend the Swatch Snowpark Sölden stoked us all again, it is definitely one of the most outstanding Snowparks in the alps and simply rocks! The Freestyle scene from the Sölden Area and all the visitors could enjoy a great day again. Although the weather forecast was not the best, finally Sölden saw perfect conditions, blue sky and excellent vibes at the Swatch Snowpark. The motivated Shape crew around the QParks -Parkdesigner Rudi Whylidal let the Obstacles glamour in perfection once again and moreover they were taking care of the good vibes and tunes as well on this great Freestyle Feast Sunday. Provided with a really good BBQ and some good drinks, the atmosphere started moderate but suddenly everyone was up for a great day in the park. Right in the chill area, so in the middle of the park, the spectators gathered to cheer up for all the riders of the Cash for Trix Session, and it was worth it! One rider after each other picked up one or more of their well deserved 5 Euro notes. Tricks like a 270 on and 270 out or a Gap to frontside board slide caused surprise. The next highlight was set on the kickers of the “Shoot my Ride”. All freestylers can enjoy airtime here, it is suitable for everyone. At the end of the park you can watch your own ride then on the big video screen or you can check it out on www.swatch.com and download it or share it with friends. Auromatic Video cameras make it possible. Nevertheless all the ambitious parkrippers where happy about the deserved Cash. At the end of this great afternoon there was a lottery with cool goodies from Moreboards Glanzer, Pleasure Magazine and Ötztal Tourism, so all the „amateur“ freestylers had a chance to go home with prices as well. So no matter if you enjoy the first class shaped obstacles either, or maybe you rock the sunchairs in the chill area - lots of people already discovered the Freestyle Feast once more to have lots of fun and a great day in the park.
