The seventh edition of the Hotzone.tv Park Opening Hintertux kicked off earlier than ever and it is already in full gas! Betterpark shapers were sweating like pigs since Monday, there was shoveling, rail building, box adjusting and fine tuning of the pro, medium and easy line allover the park. And they made it happen! Respect!!!

Like each year, at the second station, there is Test Area with brands like Bataleon, Burton, Capita, DC, Gloryfy, K2 Snowboarding, Lib tech, Oakley, Ride Snowboards, Yes and others. And you can test all what they are hiding behind their tents. So if you are still not decided what to buy for upcoming season, this is another reason why you need to be tomorrow up here!

Marko Grilc, Werni Stock with the rest of Zillertal gang and others were throwing trick by trick on two huge tables with 17m of flat. Right from these two kickers is Funpipe. Yes, that’s right no more Super Pipe. But do not worry, tomorrow they will put some rails on coping! Right from Funpipe you can find medium and easy kicker line in perfect shape. And jib line is even bigger than last year! Rails, boxes and pipes. What ever you want…

Session of the Dudes (offering a total of € 1500.— prize money for the best dudes), The Gloryfy Original Bag Jump, K2 - POP THIS! – highest Ollie Tournament and the SILBÆRG Skateboard Slalom will be searching for the fastest riders on old slalom decks.

And tomorrow’s big Opening Night is presented by Australian board and lifestyle brand Rhythm and will go down in the Hohenhaus Tenne in Hintertux. Next to finest tunes by the Wax Wreckaz DJ Kollektiv (Innsbruck) and the DJ duo Smith und Smart (Berlin) you can also look forward to the world premier of the latest snowboard movie by Argon Films, Euphoria.
