Russell Winfield's placement in this photo is very fitting. Always the center of attention, an impressive feat for someone who didn't have a voice all week. Photo: Mike Yoshida

Recap: T Bird

And then, it was time to make party…for the sixth night in a row. Regardless, we gathered at Charlie’s Mountain View to find out who would be crowned The Champ. The crowd at Charlie’s converged on the stage as the announcement came in. Third place overall: Bryan Fox. Second place overall: Forest Bailey (who couldn’t be there because he had a flight to catch). First place overall: Bode Merrill. The new champ has been crowned, and Bryan Fox has officially cemented himself as the first hopeful for the ANTPM Hall of Fame. With the $4,000 that Bode helped raise, he took hold of the microphone and politely informed all in attendance that the money would be donated to the family of Aaron Robinson. We lost a great one this week, as Aaron passed away in Chile while snowboarding. He left a lasting impact on more lives than most could in multiple lifetimes, and he will be greatly missed by not just the snowboard community, but countless others. And with that sentiment, Bode closed out the third annual America’s Next Top Pro Model. SNOWBOARDER would like to thank everyone involved for making this happen, and of course, extend our thoughts to Aaron’s brother Jason and the rest of the Robinson family. He’s gone, but he will never be forgotten.

They use it as an excuse for them to drink too.... Photo: Mike Yoshida

They continue to feed you more drinks.... Photo: Mike Yoshida

And you don't remember your night the next morning. Luckily this years Champ Bode Merrill didn't get stapled to the table like last year's champ Austin Smith. Photo: Mike Yoshida
