In Longyearbyen they pack for their trip and meet up with the other athlete on this trip, Terje Haakonsen. For three days they pack a weeks worth of food and gear onto some snow scooters and take them 180 kilometers north further into the arctic circle. What they anticipated to be a relatively manageable commute to camp turns into a 30 hour ordeal as multiple sleds get stuck in the melting ice.
