The twelfth year of the biggest snowboard event in Slovakia - Sony Ericsson Snowboard Fest is moving after 11 years to a new place, 18. February 2012 in resort Park Snow Donovaly. New place is about to push the boundaries of quality of this competition even higher.

„Joining this event with one the most modern ski resort in Slovakia that offers still better services for skiers and snowboarders, is the best contribution for the event“, says the organizer Jozef Murin to the topic.
After 11 years in Drienica the organizers decided to move away from Drienica with respect to the riders and spectators. Park Snow Donovaly offers high-guality conditions for a massive jump that is the event´s priority. The competition will take place in the progressive snowpark that is the best one in Slovakia.

„Our call for fans is - come have fun and promote the greatest battle of 10 000 USD among the professional snowboarders from different European countries such as Sweden, Finland, Norway, Switzerland, Slovenian, Poland, Czech and of course representatives of domestic Slovakia "Jozef Murin added.

Not only new resort is a news but a new web site as well - www.snowboardfest.sk. It´s full of pictures, videos from the last years and of course all event details and updates.

Furthermore online registrations for riders has been released and is now on. Riders can register on the new web site in section „Registration“.

Your support pleased us every year and gave to us a great taste and energy to organize next year even better. 3500 fans created an unforgettable atmosphere, which the riders from all over Europe took up in Drienica, "concluded thanks Jozef Murin, who stands at the event from the beginning, which began as a small event for a few friends.

The biggest event in Slovakia SONY ERICSSON SNOWBOARD FEST is ranked by the World snowboard series TTR Snowboard Tour as 4 STAR level event.
