Any new developments with liners?
- We reduced the thickness of the liner in the toe and heel on our Forum Forever Fit and adjusted the shell last to minimize the space between the liner and shell and eliminated any excess gaps between the liner and the shell. This reduces weigh, offers more comfort, reduces the pack out and size of the footprint.
Flexibility?
- True freestyle flex just got upgraded with the introduction of the Tweaker Cuff NexTreme and Tweaker Cuff with Pop for a softer medial (inside) flex. So you can style out your presses and contort your grabs.
Any special dumping/impact system for softer landings?
- It starts with with Forum’s footbeds and goes right down through our outsoles. Forum uses a material called FGel in the heels of many of our outsoles and our Level 4 and 3 liners to provide the best cushioning under the vulnerable heel area in little to big impacts.
- Forum has a new Good Vibes outsole this year found on the Tramp and Booter – We’ve retained what people loved about Good Vibes – great board feel with more natural flex and encapsulated FGel. – and added a new super lightweight material that provides consistent cushioning in all temps.
- Also back for ’13 is our Glory Sole with Simmer Down Technology. Simmer Down allows the sole to naturally cant just for you, no matter your size or position. Also the heel of this outsole has a huge amount of FGel for the ultimate impact absorption.
Any new special prints, colorways?
- Colors and styles go towards a clean, simple skate shoe.
What kind of lacing system can we find in 2013 line?
- Speed Zone and traditional lacing system.
