TSWNext proposition of white madness, this time for Xbox. When we start this game there appears very nice menu with an animation in the background. We can choose career, single session, a carefree riding on the maps, or just looking through all options. The creators of the game borrowed the most of good ideas from such hits like Coolboarders, THPS etc. (e.g. career mode, tasks to perform, stuff to discover and a lot of good riding- everything what maniacs like the most).

We can choose from 10 "licensed" competitors and 17 real tracks:-) Just a total frenzy- I think it's the best definition of TWS climate. In this game we have at our disposal very nice-prepared stripe of the adrenalin, thanks to what we can set in motion our acceleration. There is one very important thing and it is worth telling something about it- namely the TWS authors put on realism of feelings which come from the game and it should give pleasure especially for those, who don't want any more stiff solutions. Whole setting is also rather serious. Colouring is toned down and real, there are no useless things, but there are some broken trees which are good for slides, halfpipes and many natural jumps, cottages, benches etc.

Graphic is very good and it gives a good climate of the game- many small details were used here what give pleasure to demanding eye: well-dome textures, giving the snow structure, molecular effects like pieces of snow running from under the board or just animated clothes. Objects and tracks were also very well done. Very interesting thing is that the creators took care also of the falling down googles after huge falls or of the streaming blood. There is also nothing to add to the animation of competitors- everything is just perfect.

Generally it's good but there is one weak point- namely this game has not very effective engine, which reaches just 30 fps and sometimes it is difficult to read the new area. It isn't a serious defect and I think it won't irritate the snowboard lovers who really like such climates. A great plus of the game is it's music side (just like in the most games of this kind). We have at our disposal over 70 very differentiated songs, from punk through rock, hip-hop up to the electronic music- everything fits the climate and the surroundings on the track. Additionally we can use "black&white" buttons for player service. While pressing one button we come back to the beginning of the song and while pressing the second one we rewind for the next song without useless looking through the options. Isn't it a good solution?
